Hungarians plan protest
The Cleveland Press, JUN 4 1976
The American Hungarian Federation's Cleveland Chapter will stage a "quiet protest" in front of the Sheraton Cleveland Hotel at 5 p.m. Sunday after President Ford's arrival there.
John Nadas, president, said about 50 will march bearing posters that read: "Stop selling out captive nations" and "Free Eastern Europe."
"The protest is a follow -up to the many letters and telegrams sent to the White House protesting the signing the Helsinki agreement," said Nadas.
He said other captive nations representatives will be asked to join the protest of the Kissinger-Sonenfeldt doctrine which, they claim, gave Hungary and other nations to the Soviets through the Helsinki agreement.
