Church Celebrates Date of Founding
The 40th anniversary of the founding of the parish was written into the records of St. Emeric's Church, 1904 W. 22d street, today, following celebration of pontifical mass yesterday by Coadjutor Bishop Edward F. Hoban.
Monsignor Elmer Bordogh of St. Stephen's Church, Toledo, gave the anniversary sermon. Rev. Fr. John B. Mundwell (sic), pastor of St. Emeric's, assisted Bishop Hoban in the mass.
At a dinner in the parish hall speakers included: Mayor Lausche, Mayor James G. Steward of Cincinnati, John B. Toth and Frank Brogly of Youngstown.
