Bette Davis and Borgnine Play in Dumb-Bunny Film

Bette Davis and Ernest Borgnine play a "Bonnie and Clyde" of the Geritol set and the result is about as satisfying as a bad television show.

Except that Miss Davis finally gets to say a dirty word, it probably would be a television show.

Miss Davis plays a grandmother whose house has been taken over by the Bank of New Mexico. She teams up with Ernest Borgnine, a character who delivers old toilets to Mexico and sells them.

This enterprising salesman is actually an escaped bank robber -- a fact which Miss Davis discovers. She forces him to teach her all he knows about robbing banks.

They dress up as hippies, get on a motorcycle and start a crime wave. That it becomes a crime wave is partly due to Jack Cassidy, playing what has got to be the world's dumbest policeman.

If the roles of Miss Davis and Borgnine are stupid, that of Cassidy is absolutely assinine.

So's the movie.
